Being held in Hong Kong for the first time,Team Building Asia took home the gold trophy for the category over at the 2015’s Vendors of the Year (VOTY) awards in Hong Kong, while the silver went to Hong Kong Disneyland and Total Loyalty Company.

Gold winner Team Building Asia is credited with delivering a significant number of team building events across the Asia Pacific region to more than 100,000 training participants, including across Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, Shanghai and Taipei.

The Vendors of the Year awards, organised by Human Resources magazine, is a long-running annual vendor rankings report that recognises the best solution providers in Asia – starting out in Singapore, and this year extended to Malaysia and Hong Kong.

In the first year of the VOTY research in Hong Kong, all winners were determined on a two-tier selection process. First, the finalists were identified through an extensive online survey of HR managers in Asia on their preferences.

These finalists then submitted documentation to verify their credentials, which was validated by a panel of more than 19 HR leaders from some of the region’s largest employers.

In effect, for every category, the very end users of such services were the ones who made the critical decision of selecting the best.

In the 2015’s Vendors of the Year (VOTY) awards in Malaysia, D Jungle People picked up the gold award, Lawrence Walter Seminars bagged sliver and the bronze award went to Fish Camp Learning.

With more than 15 years of experience in the people development industry, gold award winner D Jungle People has developed and implemented a range of solutions designed to help organisations achieve their peak potential.

Each team will be tasked to build a robot together. After which they will be going through the learning session on manual controls and how to control them. This will allow their robots to be unique as compared to the rest. Their final objective will be to pit the robot that they built against man-made obstacles such as to carry items and moving from point A to point B or to going through a maze or to dance! The possibilities is endless! They will then customise a message for the children using the robots built and have it delivered to the beneficiaries.

  • Engage participant’s imagination and problem solving skills
  • Increase confidence and commitment levels
Allows greater meaning to giving and helping those in need
  • To tap on each other’s strengths and weaknesses
