The Gracious Giving Challenge!

The Gracious Giving Challenge! in this programme, participants will have to bid for individual objects consisting of common household and food items. With the items they have bidded for, teams have to wrap it up into a beautiful hamper which will then be given away to the less fortunate members of our community. Teams can also prepare a short massage for the beneficiaries to add a personal touch to the hamper.

The Kayaking Coastal Clean Up Challenge!

Everything here seems to thrive on a grand scale from the giant clams to the towering trees. The winding waterways and hidden lagoons make navigation tricky, but that’s part of the adventure. Our curiosity drives us to explore this almost forgotten natural river. As we paddle beneath the tangled roots of ancient fig trees and through shaded creeks, we can’t help but wonder: can this swamp be preserved for future generations to experience the beauty of Singapore’s largest mangrove riverine habitat?

Driven by our love for nature, we come equipped to clean. Any debris or trash washed ashore will be collected because protecting this precious ecosystem starts with us.

The Angrybird Trebuchet Challenge!

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Teams are required to:

  • Construct their working Trebuchet,
  • Create their Angry Birds
  • Build their own castles

The Medieval equipment with Angry Birds as the weapon!

The Trebuchet is a medieval siege weapon employed to either smash masonry walls or throw projectiles over them. In The Trebuchet Challenge! teams are challenged to design and build this medieval weapon to protect their “cities” from the invasion of “enemies”.

Members must decide on the projectile mass, the launch angle and the counterweight mass to launch the perfect attacks.

Teams will be given materials to construct the Trebuchet, Weapons – The Angry Birds and castles
Using Creativity and Teamwork, teams have to protect their structures at the same time tear down opponents’ Territory!

    • Construct A Trebuchet
      • Teams are challenged to design and build a working trebuchet by using materials that are being provided.
    • Build The Fortress
      • Challenge to design and build their tower or structure within the team’s territory.
    • Develop the Weapons – Angry Birds!
      • Challenge to make launching birds by using jumping clays

    The Race Kart Challenge!

    Programme brings about our deepest desire for speed in a F1-like race. The Race Kart Challenge! encourages participants to work within their teams to build a race kart according to the specifications provided. Teams will unleash their creativity to design and construct customised race kart from scratch with the given materials.
